Google Cloud Next is coming soon and once again MapsPeople is a proud sponsor and official indoor navigation provider. Meet us at the event.
Last year, more than 23,000 people attended the Google Cloud Next ‘18 convention that offered more than 290 speakers, but this year it will be even bigger. When Google Cloud Next ‘19 kicks off in April, more than 1,000 Google, customer, and partner speakers will be ready to share their words of wisdom at more than 500 breakout sessions.
Creating the best possible experience
The event takes place in the Moscone North and South and a handful of other spaces. As you can imaging, navigating several buildings of that size can be a challenging task in itself. Add to that thousands of people, endless booths, and 500+ breakout sessions, and it becomes mission impossible.
There’s nothing that turns a good experience into bad one faster than the feeling of being lost, stressed, and unable to find the things you’ve come a long way to see. Google Cloud wants to ensure that guests and partners get the best possible experience at the event, and that’s why they need indoor navigation.
With MapsPeople’s indoor navigation platform, MapsIndoors, attendees get a clear overview of the spaces, and turn-by-turn navigation right at their fingertips. The solution allows people to create personal programs and add stops along their journey, so they don’t have to worry about missing out on anything.
“Google Cloud partnered with MapsPeople to utilise the MapsIndoors tool for several of our Cloud Next annual events. The MapsIndoors tool and map are both user-friendly and accurate and the fact that you can easily integrate the platform with other third party systems makes it a valuable tool when you’re hosting a big conference", says Cam Macintosh, Next Digital Lead, Google Cloud.
Google’s preferred indoor navigation provider
Over the years MapsPeople has been the official indoor navigation provider at several Google Cloud events since 2015, and we’re looking forward to adding Google Cloud Next ‘19 in San Fransisco, Tokyo and London to the list.
“Working with Google is always exciting. They’re without doubt the tech leader no 1 and at the forefront of software. We’re really proud that they’ve chosen us and our indoor navigation platform again”, says Michael Gram, CEO at MapsPeople,
