Company Announcement No. 14-2021

MapsPeople has today entered into an agreement with Jonas Berntsen that he will resign from his position as President and CPO of MapsPeople from today.

Jonas Berntsen has been a key contributor to bringing MapsPeople to where the company is today. Now it takes a person with US SaaS scale-up experience to take the next step, and MapsPeople is already in the process of scaling the business in the US with the extension of the sales organization to expand the US market going forward.

Jonas Berntsen says: “After 8 years in MapsPeople of which 3 in Austin, the time is now right for me to move on. It has been an incredible journey with many challenges to overcome, to look back and see the business I now hand over for further development and growth, makes me proud.”

Michael Gram, CEO says: "It has been a pleasure working with Jonas, who has headed the task of building MapsPeople's brand from our office in Austin, Texas in the best possible way, and I would like to thank Jonas on behalf of the board and management for his efforts."

As per today the US office will be managed by Michael Gram, CEO and Jannik Brouwers, CCO.
