MapsPeople Nominated by The Danish Trade Council

The Danish Trade Council has nominated MapsPeople for the Vitus prize that will be presented by the Danish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Anders Samuelsen, at Danish Export Day 2018 on September 11.

Vitus is The Trade Council’s elite program for Danish companies with the ability and determination to expand globally. The program targets SMEs with a particularly high international growth potential.

MapsPeople joined the program in November 2016 and since then we’ve expanded the company with a new office in Austin, Texas, 28 additional employees, and a 35% increase in revenue in 2017.

“The Vitus Program has contributed with vital elements for our go-to-market plan. The nomination is a great recognition of the hard work we’ve been doing for the past year and a half, so we’re very proud to be nominated”, says CEO, Michael Gram.
