Network Manager Supports Temporary Changes

In the beginning of October a new update for the network manager will be rolled out to all customers making it easier to create temporary routes.

The update will make it possible for backend users to interact with the navigation network, thus forcing MapsIndoors to navigate people a certain way. Furthermore, backend users will be able to lock part of the map, so this segment gets temporarily deactivated.

“With the new update we’re making it possible for customers to close off a segment of the map temporarily. This is especially important forlarge public spaces where parts of the venue may be closed off from time to time due to reconstructions or the like”, explains MapsPeople CTO, Jesper Winther.
