Introducing the MapsIndoors Partner Hub

Today we are launching the MapsIndoors Partner Hub — A directory of the different tools and companies that work with MapsIndoors.

Why? Many of our customers are solving multiple challenges that rely on maps and spatial data. For years, we’ve guided customers toward our partners, but there hasn’t been a unified place that showcases our partners and how they connect to our platform. This is why we have created our Partner Hub—to provide a clear, searchable overview of the tools, services, and integrations that connect to the same map and data customers are already using every day.

Embedded partners, expert consultants, and more.

We have partners across the spectrum: On one end, we have partners that have embedded MapsIndoors as their mapping solution in their software, like RICOH Spaces, iotspot, and AskCody. On the other end, we have consultants who work with MapsIndoors on behalf of their customers, helping them with implementation, like C-learning, Searce, and Siemens.

Between those ends of the spectrum, you’ll find a range of software, technologies, and services that play a big role in designing a great spatial experience. For example, indoor positioning systems like CrowdConnected or accessibility tools like GoodMaps.

At our core, we are a platform designed for you to build from. Our partners provide the interfaces and workflows that extract value from the map and build experiences on top of it.

As we launch the Partner Hub today, we have more than 50 partners, with many more to come as we continue to grow our partner program.

Building infrastructure for experiences

One thing is clear: the value of an indoor map isn’t in the map display alone—the real value lies in what you can do with the underlying spatial data. Fundamentally, an indoor map is simply a tool to deliver a part of an experience. From desk booking to digital signage to wayfinding, most workplace and visitor tools depend on location context. We want to help our customers build complete spatial experiences by connecting the tools they need from our network of partners. That’s the first part of the goal.

The second part of our goal is to make it easier and cheaper to use your indoor map and spatial data.

Sure, mapping a building has some initial costs, but the true expense is hidden behind all the updates you need to make over time. If you have 3 or 4 different solutions each using a separate map, it becomes really expensive to keep them all updated and prevent a bad user experience.

Shared Infrastructure

Using a MapsIndoors partner means you can use the indoor map and spatial data you already have, directly inside their solution. No need to manage duplicate maps across different tools. This reduces the hassle of map maintenance while gaining speed when pushing updates to users.

We call this Shared Infrastructure—one map, one set of spatial data, used across many apps and experiences.

That’s the real win for our customers, and that's why we hope being more transparent with our Partner Hub will create better experiences for the end users.
